On Frederator blog, the animation studio producing it, we learn the film will be written & directed by the original creator of the tv series, Genndy Tartakovsky. And, J.J Abrams is the co-producer! By the way, the film is said to be a “2D/stereoscopic 3D production“, and if it means something, IMDb announces a release for 2011.
