UK label Third Window Films has just confirmed the acquisition of Gen Takahashi’s police-corruption epic Confessions of a Dog, which has been highly praised so far – could be one of the most interesting japanese film released this past few years!
The story of a good cop forced into drug smuggling by none other than his boss. The DVD will be release on March 14th, 2011 after a limited theatrical release. See the cover & trailer after the jump:
Hum, but as far as I know, the film isn’t “banned in Japan”, the release has only been delayed for years (made in 2005, out only in 2009). Anyway, looking forward to watching it!
