Shinya Tsukamoto was at Tribeca for the North American premiere of Tetsuo The Bullet Man, where he was also interviewed and gave some details about the projet;
On why he made a third Tetsuo movie: “Seventeen years ago, when I made Tetsuo 2(: Body Hammer), the young staff I had worked with had their own style and they went off into a different direction than I had originally wanted. This time around, I was really able to do my thing, to do it my own way. It’s not just about a human becoming metallic but rather a human becoming a weapon.”
