A daring selection with many french coproductions, direct-to-international-festivals movies, established auteurs. Ha Ha Ha

Why so much hate Rizjaune, what were you expecting from Cannes? Why cinefils have to be so serious? Try Udine, Toronto or Nippon Connection next time.

As expected, the best films should be at Le Marche du Film, my guess : Miike’s 13 Assassins, Norwegian Wood, Sushi Typhoon prods, Kim Jee-woon’s I Saw The Devil, The Murderer, WKW’s Grandmaster, Ip Man 2, Dream Home, Fire Of Conscience… A fucking goot year !!

Cannes ou le festival de la frime et de la vanité. Incommensurabilité avidité et superficialité y sera représenter en grande pompe.

I’ll say this: I’d take Cannes over the Oscars any day.
