Yves Montmayeur has directed some interesting documentaries; Yakuza-Eiga, In the Mood for Doyle (both will be screened at the Terracotta Film Fest)… In his latest work, he went to interview some of the most original japanese artists like Kitano, Sono, Tsukamoto. It will be broadcast on Arte on April 8.
And in this lengthy french interview, Montmayeur has announced that he’s working on two new projects; one about Nikkatsu’s pink films, the other about actress Meiko Kaji!
