Remake of a classic Shaw Brothers film with Donnie Yen. It’s about highly trained Imperial Guards executing any orders from the Imperial Court, the Emperor. But soon, one of them starts questioning his actions and discover a conspiracy. According to Donnie Yen, this film has the most fights among his recent works. Good news!

Yet another Dante Lam urban thriller, about a cop being investigated by Internal Affairs working with a rogue narc on the case of a dead hooker. It looks pretty hard boiled judging from the 1st stills… Leon Lai running in the middle of a HK street, holding a AK-47. Sold!

Wong Kar Wai’s The Grand Master
Yes, another biopic for Bruce Lee’s Master, played this time by Tony Leung. Actress Zhang Ziyi is said to be involved too. But right now, we just know the shooting will start soon in December, and should be finished in April. So stay tuned!

Rain of Swords in the Pugilistic World
A sword film produced by John Woo (!), starring Michelle Yeoh (!!) as a retired assassin who falls in love with a man who appears to be the son of someone she killed years ago. The shooting started in November, and it should be released around summer 2010!
