Another good DVD news for today! Animeigo has just announced that a box set with the first 4 films of the Sleepy Eyes of Death series is coming on DVD this year!
Sleepy Eyes of Death, aka Nemuri Kyoshiro, starring Raizo Ichikawa as a cynical ronin. This overview should give you some ideas about these cult films!

I’m pretty stoked. They’re going to include reviews of The Chinese Jade and Sword of Seduction from my first book, Stray Dogs & Lone Wolves, in the liner notes. I was told the box will be available in July — fingers crossed.
I got an advance copy of the box set. Films look great, booklet provides a lot of historical information (as well as the material from SD&LW).
Highly recommended!
